Many customers do not know how to calculate the tonnage of the equipment or what kind of tonnage is appropriate when purchasing die-casting machines. The following is a brief introduction to the selection of the equipment.
In general, when selecting a die casting machine, the following two aspects can be considered:
1. Select according to different varieties and batches
If there are many kinds of die castings to be produced, but the output is relatively small, you can choose the model with simple hydraulic system, strong adaptability and rapid adjustment.
If there are few types of die castings produced, but the output is relatively large, the model selected at this time should be equipped with various mechanized and automatic control mechanisms, so as to ensure efficient production.
2. Selection according to casting structure and process parameters
Because the shape, size, weight and wall thickness of die castings are different, different parameters have an important impact on the selection of models.
The weight of die castings (including gating system and overflow tank) shall not exceed the rated capacity of the equipment, but it is not appropriate to be too small to avoid power waste. For rated capacity, please refer to the operation manual of the equipment.
Generally, the equipment has a processing distance range, and there must be a certain limit on the thickness and height of the die castings. If the thickness is too thick or too high, it will lead to difficulty in taking out the die castings.
