Q: Is it possible to make zinc parts in cold chamber die casting machine?
A: Yes, the cold chamber die casting machine can make all material, including zinc, but hot chamber die casting machine can only make low heating point material, like zinc and lead. Compared with hot chamber die casting machine, the cold chamber machine is of lower production speed.
Q: What is the difference for nitrogen bottle of cold & hot chamber die casting machine?
A: The nitrogen bottle of cold chamber die casting machine is piston, and the accumulator of hot chamber die casting machine is nitrogen bag made of rubber.
Q: What is the difference for hydraulic pump of cold & hot chamber die casting machine?
A: The hydraulic pump of cold chamber die casting machine is high and low (double press) pump. The mould opening and closing will be controlled by high and low pressure. The hydraulic pump of hot chamber die casting machine is single press pump. So the hot chamber die casting machine has two nitrogen bottles. One is for opening and closing moulds and the other is for injection system. When the speed of injection or mould opening increases,the nitrogen bottle (accumulator) will provide the press to boost speed.
