What are the control modes of die-casting machine injection curve?

Jun 05, 2025

1. Semi-closed loop control mode

The system injection pressure, speed, stroke, and other parameters are set by control. The control system detects the actual parameters of the injection process through sensors and offset servo motors, displays the actual parameters and injection curve, and compares the measured values with the preset values. In the next aluminum die-casting cycle, the aluminum die-casting parameters are adjusted according to the opening of the control valve to make them close to the target. The injection stroke is divided into three or two sections for control (including the tail-end deceleration function) to make the injection curve closer to the set curve.

2. Open loop gain control mode

The injection stroke is generally divided into three levels (slow injection, fast injection, increase) or four levels (slow injection, first-level fast injection, second-level fast injection, increase). The speed and pressure of each section are set by electric adjustment or manual adjustment of the spindle. The actual parameters and injection curve are judged according to the display interface or the experience of the process staff, and are adjusted manually.

3. Real-time control mode
The injection stroke is divided into multiple stages for control. We can program the parameters of different stroke stages. Due to the use of high-precision hydraulic valves, the response speed of detection and feedback adjustment is improved. During the injection process, the pressure and speed information are continuously detected, and feedback is adjusted to compensate for the impact of production standard fluctuations on the injection parameters. The actual injection curve of each cycle process is highly consistent with the preset value, making the aluminum die-casting production have high reliability and stability, meeting the processing requirements of high-performance castings.
