The installation site for the die casting machine should comply with all related requirements as specified in the installation site drawing for the machine. The concrete which is used for the installation site should be high-grade and the surface of the site should keep even and smooth. Important notice: you must tighten those nuts which are matched with foundation bolts until the cement has become hardened.
When the construction of the site, you should consider how to lay the cooling water pipeline. The size of the inlet pipe and outlet pipe should comply with the requirements provided in the design drawing. For the sake of improving the cooling performance and being able to operate conveniently, each pipe should be fitted with a pipe valve so as to adjust the throughput of cooling water. Though the water consumption of the die casting machine varies according to different seasons, its max water consumption will not be more than 50kg/min.
In order to clean die-casting moulds and apply lubricant, it is necessary to be equipped with a special pipe for compressed air which has a diameter of 1/2″and should be fitted with a stop valve at its outlet.
For those users who can use coal gas, it is suitable to lay a special pipe for coal gas, which is used to preheat die-casting moulds. In addition, it is very easy to heat nozzle by use of coal gas.
When planning the foundation work, you should also take into account how to lay the power supply wire, including connection from electrical cabinet to electric furnace, nozzle insulating sheath and thermocouple. It is recommended that the power supply wire be laid in a duct channel with a cover, so the surface of the site can be kept clean and smooth. You should also pay attention to the risk that the wire may be damaged by molten metal. Therefore, the power supply wire should be kept away from the melting furnace to prevent the wire against being damaged by molten metal. You had better place the wire in a duct channel.
