The working mode of the vertical cold chamber die casting machine is shown in the figure. The pressure chamber 7 is placed vertically, and the upper punch 8 is above the pressure chamber (the position above the figure), and the lower punch 10 is located at the opening of the nozzle 5 to prevent the molten metal from flowing into the pressure chamber and flowing into the nozzle hole. The opening and closing action of the mold is horizontally moved, and after the mold is opened, the die casting is left in the movable mold. The work steps are as follows:
Vertical cold chamber die casting machine works
(1) closing the mold;
(2) pouring the molten metal into the pressure chamber manually or by other means;
(3) The upper punch moves down at a lower injection speed, enters the pressure chamber and just contacts the liquid level of the molten metal;
(4) The upper punch is pressed to a higher injection speed, and the lower punch is rapidly moved downward in synchronization with the upper punch holding a relative distance between the metal liquid in the middle;
(5) When the lower punch moves down to the outlet of the nozzle, it is just down to the bottom and is supported; thus, the upper and lower punches simultaneously press the molten metal at a high speed toward the nozzle hole (part of the sprue 6) injection;
(6) the molten metal is filled into the mold cavity from the ingate 3 through a sprue 6 composed of a nozzle, a sprue bushing 4, a fixed-die taper hole and a flow divider 2;
(7) The filling is completed, but the upper punch still maintains a certain pressure until the molten metal in the cavity is completely solidified into the die casting 1; the molten metal in the runner and the pressure chamber is solidified into a sprue and a residual cake respectively. ;
(8) The upper punch lifts and resets; at the same time, the lower punch moves upward to cut away the remaining cake that is still connected to the sprue;
(9) The lower punch continues to rise, and the remaining cake is lifted out of the top surface of the pressure chamber, and then removed manually or by other means;
(10) The lower punch is moved down to block the nozzle orifice;
(11) Open the mold, the die casting and the sprue remain on the movable mold together, then eject and take out the die casting; once the remaining cake is cut, the mold opening action can be performed immediately, or it can be slowed down to the appropriate time. Execution, regardless of the action of the lower punch to complete the lifting and resetting;
At this point, a die casting cycle is completed.
